New Sony World Showroom to Offer Superior Experiential Platform to Engage Customers

 Leading consumer electronics brand Sony along with Anisuma Traders Ltd, the authorised distributor for Sony products in Kenya, today announced the inauguration of its latest Sony World Showroom at the Thika Road Mall.  The new showroom to be known as Thika Road Mall Sony Showroom, will provide a new platform to showcase the extensive range of Sony products and technologies and signifies Sony’s strategy to further enhance its position as the leader in consumer electronics in Kenya.

With the launch of the Thika Road Mall Sony Showroom, Sony now has a network of 6 showrooms in Kenya providing customers with a unique destination to explore the complete Sony user experience with the freedom to touch and try-out the latest products and technologies from Sony.

Speaking when the showroom was officially opened, Chief Representative, Sony Middle East and Africa, Kenya office, Rajeev Pallippamadam said the opening of the Thika Road Mall Showroom in Kenya further illustrated the company’s commitment towards cementing its position as the leader in consumer electronics in the country.

“Today, we would like to prove our commitment to our Kenyan customers by bringing ‘world class’ Sony experiences right to their doorsteps. We hope that the new Sony showroom will give consumers the opportunity to experience and interact with our latest technologies and products in the market,” added Pallippamadam.

The Thika Road Mall Sony showroom will house the extensive range of Sony consumer electronics products like the Sony VAIO notebook computers, 3D-enabled BRAVIA LED TVs, Handycam camcorders featuring the built-in projectors, Cyber-shot digital still cameras and a range of powerful Sony Hi-Fi systems.

The new showroom will also host the most recently launched product innovations in the Kenyan market, the Sony Handycam PJ380 camcorder that delivers Full HD video with enhanced projection capabilities and the Sony Cyber-shot HX300 digital still camera with a huge 50x optical zoom range that covers a wide spectrum of shooting possibilities.
